August is the month of summer cinema, and Nomad is the place where this year’s best films are shown.
Under the vague headline “fall girl aesthetics,” we’re screening five distinct films that all touch on themes connected to the idea of new beginnings—such as identity, belonging, and control.
Together with stone-throwing women, dancing dogs, and sleepless aliens, we take the opportunity to look inward—who do you want to be this fall, and what goals can take you there?
Come show off your new haircut and watch five films that set the tone for the coming season!

Filminstallationen GLIDE (19 min) visas i Ullådalen, Åre, kl. 18.30-19 den 11, 12 och 13 februari. Vid regn, extrem kyla eller hård vind är det inte möjligt att visa filmen! Informationen uppdateras därför inför visningarna.
Fri entré, varm dryck serveras efter visningen.
GLIDE visas i fjällbjörkskogen ungefär 300 meter från den nedre bron över Ullån. Följ därefter leden mot Lillåstugan. Innan visningen sätts skyltar upp för att lätt hitta till platsen.
Det är möjligt att ta sig till platsen till fots och med skidor. Ta på varma kläder och ta gärna med en pannlampa/ficklampa. Det kommer att finnas några få sittplatser men det går även fint att se filmen stående.
